Anxiety, Fear & Overwhelm
When Your Mind Won’t Slow Down
Anxiety can be exhausting—not always because of one big moment, but because of the constant mental and emotional weight you carry.
Maybe you find yourself overthinking every decision, worrying about the future, or feeling like you’re always trying to stay one step ahead. Maybe you’re the person everyone counts on, but privately you feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unable to truly relax.
At Pacific Bloom Therapy, I support women who are navigating anxiety, fear, and overwhelm by creating a space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and build tools for feeling more grounded and at ease.
Anxiety Can Show Up in Many Ways
Anxiety doesn't always look like panic. Sometimes it appears as:
Constant overthinking or second-guessing yourself
Feeling responsible for everything and everyone
Difficulty slowing down or being present
Worrying about things before they happen
Feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks
Perfectionism or fear of making mistakes
Trouble setting boundaries or saying no
Feeling disconnected from yourself or what you need
You may know that something feels off, but struggle to explain why. Therapy can help you better understand your experiences and create meaningful change.
Therapy for Anxiety Can Help You...
Anxiety often develops as a way of protecting you—but when it starts running your life, it can leave you feeling stuck and disconnected.
Together, we can work on:
Understanding the thoughts, emotions, and patterns connected to your anxiety
Developing tools to manage stress and overwhelm
Building self-trust and confidence
Creating healthier boundaries
Learning ways to feel more regulated and present
Exploring the experiences that have shaped how you relate to yourself and the world around you
The goal of therapy isn't to never feel anxious. It's learning how to move through difficult moments with more confidence, compassion, and resilience.
My Approach
I believe your anxiety has a story.
Rather than viewing anxiety as something to eliminate, we’ll explore what it may be trying to communicate and how your experiences have shaped your relationship with stress and fear.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and attachment-based therapy to support both your mind and nervous system.
You Don't Have to Keep Carrying It Alone
If anxiety, fear, or overwhelm has been affecting your relationships, work, or ability to enjoy everyday life, therapy can provide the support and space you need to feel more like yourself again.
Pacific Bloom Therapy offers virtual therapy for women throughout Oregon.
