FAQS

  • At this time, Pacific Bloom Therapy does not accept insurance and operates as a private-pay practice. This allows us to offer more personalized, flexible care without the limitations that insurance companies often place on treatment, diagnosis, and session length.

However, you may still be able to receive reimbursement through your insurance provider using out-of-network benefits. If your plan includes these benefits, we can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, reimbursement rates, and deductible requirements.

If you have questions about payment or reimbursement, we’re always happy to help guide you through the process.

  • Sessions range from $20–$200, depending on length, services, and insurance. Please see my pricing page for a more detailed menu of my services and offerings.

  • You can reach out through the contact form or schedule a free consultation call. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit.

  • The first session is an intake appointment and typically lasts about 75 minutes. During this time, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions and begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship.

  • We support adults navigating fear and anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns, as well as those experiencing emotional overwhelm. We also offer support for perinatal and reproductive mental health, including the emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and other women’s health experiences. Therapy can be a supportive space for reflection, healing, and building healthier patterns that foster greater balance and well-being.

  • We ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to the full session fee.

  • Many clients begin with weekly sessions, though we can adjust frequency depending on your needs, schedule, and goals.
